Upcoming Alumni Events

While our students may leave Los Angeles to embark on their careers, further studies, and the other journeys of life, USC and Hillel never leaves them. Our alumni will always be members of our Jewish Trojan Family and we hope you'll reconnect with us at an USC Jewish Alumni Association event:

Our Mental Healthcare Crisis: One Mother's Cry for Change

Wednesday, October 27, 5:00 PM PT, Zoom

USC Hillel invites you to an inspirational talk from Board of Directors Chair Andrea Sonnenberg, who established our path-breaking Wellness Initiative with her husband Glenn in memory of their son, Bradley. Andrea will speak about Bradley's life and legacy, sharing her harrowing experience with the mental health care system, how it failed her son, and her rallying cry for change.

The program will feature an introduction from Adlai Wertman, the David C. Bohnett Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at the USC Marshall School of Business and Vice President of the Board of the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, which awarded a Cutting Edge Grant to support the launch of the Bradley Sonnenberg Wellness Initiative. Following Andrea's presentation, we will host a panel discussion and Q & A moderated by USC Hillel Executive Director Dave Cohn and featuring USC students and campus wellness professionals. RSVP HERE to receive Zoom participation details.
