Chloe Miller

Class of 2022

Chloe's CEI project is the Shuk on Campus, an on-campus Israeli shuk-style marketplace featuring student vendors from the Iovine-Young Academy and Marshall School of Business.


Jacob Miller

Class of 2022

Jacob's CEI project is to promote sustainability initiatives and programming at USC Hillel. This has included using bamboo silverware at Shabbat to reduce our reliance on single-use plastics and an Environmental Shabbat around Tu Bishvat co-sponsored by the Environmental Student Association in Undergraduate Student Government.


Rockey Greenberg

Class of 2021

Rockey's CEI project was a Mitzvah Donation Drive during finals in collaboration with the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles and Share a Meal. The drive collected non-perishable food items, clothing, and linens from students to distribute directly to people in need on Skid Row.


Eve Herzog

Class of 2021

Eve's CEI project is Summer Camp Shabbat, a Shabbat experience drawing inspiration from her own Shabbat experiences at URJ Crane Lake Camp and other Jewish summer camps.


Class of 2020

Jackie Marks

Jackie's CEI project is a yearlong panel series featuring student panelists speaking about topics relevant to students' needs and interests. These panels included Mental Health and Munchies with Associate Director of Student Wellness Rebecca Ruben.


Class of 2021

Jenna Kaplan

Jenna's CEI project is Jewish Adulting 101, a yearlong cooking series teaching fellow Jewish students how to cook some of their favorite Jewish dishes like Matzo Ball Soup that they can make in their dorm rooms or apartments.


Class of 2022

Noah Nazarian

Noah's CEI project is PCH (Persian Club of Hillel), a club in Hillel for Persian Jewish students to connect and build on-campus community with one another.


Class of 2021

Sara Okum

Sara's CEI project is a mentorship program for Jewish spring admits like herself. Sara is pairing Jewish upperclassmen Spring Admits with an incoming Jewish Spring Admit who will welcome them to Hillel through engaging them one-on-one and bringing them to Shabbat and weekly events.
