USC Hillel Art Gallery

About the USC Hillel Art Gallery

USC Hillel established the first Hillel art gallery in the early 1970s. Over the years, we have won praise and acclaim for our exhibitions of nationally and internationally prominent artists, such as Bill Aron, Victor Raphael, and Judith Margolis. Student exhibitions have honored artists such as Leonard Nimoy, Karen Koblitz, and Ruth Weisberg. The Hillel mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish community and the world. The gallery is coordinated by an active gallery committee, which is chaired by Susie Gesundheit. We mount three exhibitions a year accompanied by lively and thought-provoking programming. One exhibition is always designated for student participation.
