Tuesday, February 2, All day starting at 10:00am at USC
How can artists use and/or respond to videotaped testimonies and other artifacts of “what happened” in the creation of something new and immediate and now? Can theatre serve in shaping an audience’s perception and ultimately the world? Please join us for a day-long event focused on artistic work that engages with catastrophe and events — personal and world-wide — which challenge our sense of how things ought to be.
Admission is free to USC students, faculty and staff.
Single-day conference registration is available for non-USC people.
The dinner event at Hillel requires a separate ticket.
The day is part of the Association for Jewish Theatre’s four-day international conference in Los Angeles, Reflecting and Shaping a Shifting World.
