FRESHFEST is retreat for incoming Jewish Trojans to meet fellow USC students, get tips from upperclassmen about campus life, move into your dorms early, and get a head start at USC. Check out our FAQ Youtube videos to help answer more specific questions!

USC Hillel’s FRESHFEST offers you the chance to:
- Meet new friends!
- Learn about Jewish Life at USC, USC Extracurricular and Academics activities & Greek life
- Spend the night at a beautiful camp outside LA!
- Share an unforgettable experience with your new USC Trojan family
- Move in early on Monday (or Tuesday) before the official move in day.
When Is Freshfest
Monday, August 19 – Tuesday, August 20, 2013 (Only 2 days before official USC move in day on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.)
- Meet at Hillel at 11am on August 19th for Parent and Student Brunch
- Depart for retreat location at 2pm
- Return to campus August 20th, 3:30pm
After Freshfesters return to campus, all are invited to a BBQ sponsored by Chabad Jewish Student Center at 6pm – 2713 Severance St. Los Angeles, CA 90007.
How much does it cost
- $100 on or before August 1, 2013
- $118 after August 1, 2013
What should I bring to FreshFest?
- Sleeping bag and/or linens, pillow, toiletries
- Warm jacket for night
- Bathing suit and towel (sandals/flip flops)
- Comfortable Clothes & Shoes
- Outdoor wear
