March 2012
Passover is a special time of year. The beauty of spring surrounds us and yet, we retell the history and struggles of the Jewish people. Passover is the most widely celebrated Jewish holiday across the world.
In a few short days, USC Hillel will welcome Jewish students of all backgrounds to our Seder. For some, this is the first time celebrating the holiday away from their families and for others it is an opportunity to step up as a leader among their peers. Passover is the perfect opportunity to maximize Hillel’s outreach to students and reaffirm their connection to our people.
USC Hillel does not turn away any student for financial reasons. With your support, we are able to offer a variety of Passover programs this year, including 1st night Seder, an Exodus Seder in collaboration with the Black Student Assembly, and student hosted dinners. With your contribution, Hillel is able to subsidize the cost of Seder and Kosher for Passover Shabbat dinner on campus, so that every Jewish student can share in the community and celebrate Passover this year.
We invite you to be a part of these experiences by supporting the continuity of Jewish life on campus. You can donate online HERE or contact me at alison@uschillel.org or 213.973.1204 for more information. USC students appreciate your continued generosity and support.

We wish you and your family a happy Passover.
