Cynthia Baseman

Cynthia Baseman is an LA native. She earned her BA and MFA in Cinema-Television at the University of Southern California.  She is an Emmy-nominated producer who wrote, developed and sold projects to various television networks.

Equally fascinated with real estate, Baseman invested in a fixer-upper duplex. 30 years later, Baseman is a partner at Royal Development Company, a development, management and investment firm, specializing in multi-residential property.

Passionate about the outdoors and education, Baseman and her husband Neal support many causes to protect the earth and living things. Hiking and biking trips with her family top the list of favorite things to do.

Baseman serves on the Board of Councilors of the USC Libraries and the Board of USC Hillel. She is a true Trojan; her family represents three generations of USC graduates.

Baseman is the published author of two works of non-fiction. Her memoir, ‘Love, Mom: A Mother’s Journey from Loss to Hope’ appears on recommended reading lists around the world.
