Sandra E. Kossacoff has operated her own practice at the Law Office of Sandra Kossacoff since May 1993. She provides transactional real estate legal services for matters such as acquisitions, dispositions, financings, workouts, leases, property management agreements, listing agreements and due diligence. She represents a wide variety of real estate clients, including asset management companies, portfolio owners, lenders, developers, landlords, tenants and private investors. Ms. Kossacoff has successfully handled multi-million dollar transactions for office, retail, and hospitality, industrial, multifamily and undeveloped residential properties. Ms. Kossacoff worked for Colony Advisors, Inc. as Vice President and General Counsel from 1991 to 1993. Ms. Kossacoff established and organized the company’s Legal Department, including the implementation of a central filing system, interdepartmental compliance procedures and communication, report dissemination and training of departmental personnel.
Ms. Kossacoff was Senior Vice President and General Counsel at RRP Management Corp. in Los Angeles, California from 1989 to 1991. RRP Management Corp. was formed by Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. and Executive Life Insurance Company to manage a $500 million portfolio consisting of approximately 600 properties located in 48 states and Puerto Rico owned by a publicly held master limited partnership. Ms. Kossacoff established the legal department at RRP and was responsible for the negotiation, documentation and closing of multi-state property sales, leasing, construction, management and finance transactions and environmental compliance issues. She also managed the corporate and regulatory compliance program, including annual SEC filings and multi-state qualifications. In addition, Ms. Kossacoff engaged and supervised outside counsel with respect to multi-state litigation and insurance matters.
Ms. Kossacoff served as Counsel for real estate matters at Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation from 1988 to 1989. From 1985 to 1988, Ms. Kossacoff was an associate specializing in real estate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker in Los Angeles. She received extensive experience in the negotiation and documentation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, and construction, finance, title and land use documents. Ms. Kossacoff obtained a Juris Doctor degree in May 1985 from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and was a Legion Lex Scholar. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in December 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Communication Studies. Ms. Kossacoff is married to Dr. Howard Fullman and has two sons, Alexander (USC ’13) and Casey (Milken Community High School ’12)
